SEE Turtles is working with RED Sustainable Travel, a new community-based ecotourism operator in Mexico, to develop a market for sea turtle conservation tourism. The Fisheries Service of NOAA is proposing to reopen the deadly bottom longline fishery in the Gulf of Mexico, allowing up to 630 endangered loggerhead turtles to die in fishing nets over the next three years. Help our partners at Sea Turtle Restoration Project by signing their petition against this action. Comments are due by March 1st.
