Hello there,

Happy Holidays from SEE Turtles!  This month, learn how your donation to turtle conservation can be doubled, read about our whale and turtle research trip to Baja, and help save turtles in India.

Double Your Donation To Protect The Osa's Turtles

We are proud to announce our new Matching Donation Fund. Throughout December, we'll be matching donations from individuals to support the efforts of our partner Friends of the Osa in Costa Rica.  We will match donations up to a total of $1,000 to support their annual sea turtle festival, which involves local residents in turtle conservation.  100% of donations will be passed along to the group and all donations are tax deductible.   Learn more and donate here.

Baja Whales & Turtles

Baja California Sur is one of the most diverse places for ocean wildlife in the world.  This January, join Baja Expeditions for a unique trip to see Baja's friendly gray whales up close and participate in a green turtle research project.  The trip runs from Jan 26 - Feb 2 and costs $1,795 per person.  Learn more here.

Wildlife Facebook Page

We will soon be launching a new initiative called SEEtheWILD which will encourage travelers to support wildlife conservation projects around the world through travel.  The new website will launch in January 2011 but we wanted to get a head start with a new Facebook page .  Click "like" to receive updates about wildlife news, conservation travel, and ways to help.  Visit the new page here.

New Costa Rica Videos

Over the past few weeks, we've been sharing a series of videos from Costa Rica's South Caribbean region.  Check out our YouTube page to see videos on the Gandoca Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge, the San San Wetland, the Kekoldi Indigenous Reserve, and the Pierella Butterfly Farm.

Speak Up For India's Turtles

South Korean company POSCO is planning to construct a port in India's Orissa Province that would threaten one of the world's most important olive ridley nesting beaches.  Join our friends at Sea Turtle Restoration Project in calling for cancellation of this project by the Indian government at the STRP website.

Thanks for all of your support.  Please contact us with any questions.
