Hello there,

Happy Halloween!  This month, enter our Nicaragua Wildlife Tour Sweepstakes and join us in supporting an effort to share the inspiring story of the comeback of the black turtle in Mexico.  Also, learn how to see giant leatherbacks in Trinidad and help turtles by cutting subsidies for oil companies.

Last Chance to Enter The Nicaragua Wildlife Sweepstakes

In two weeks, we'll be picking a winner for a free sea turtle trip to Nicaragua. To enter, sign up for our SEEtheWILD enewsletter here (no purchase necessary). Other prizes include a gift box of Endangered Species Chocolate and more!  Learn more here.

The World's Best Place to SEE Leatherback Turtles

Trinidad is a unique Caribbean island full of culture and beauty. It is also probably the best place to see giant leatherback turtles, with up to 500 turtles nesting per night!  Our trips benefit local turtle conservation programs.

We have three ways to witness this incredible act of nature:

Protect Turtles By Ending Oil Company Tax Breaks

The US government subsidizes oil drilling that harms sea turtles, dophins, and other marine wildlife.  Click here to let your representative know that you support cuts in subsidies to oil companies that have record profits.

Return of the Black Turtle

Black turtles (a sub-population of green turtles) were once nearly extinct in Western Mexico.  However, a dedicated group of scientists, fishermen, and others have helped bring this turtle back from the brink.  Our friend, Neil Osborne (who has taken most of our great photos) is raising money to tell this inspiring story. Will you join us in supporting his work?
