Hello there,

We hope everyone enjoyed Memorial Day!  This month, learn about our upcoming turtle tours and school field trips, how stamps can protect wildlife, and how you can help turtles in Puerto Rico.

Upcoming Turtle Trips To Baja and more

Making plans for the summer and fall?  Join one of our unique trips to participate in turtle conservation programs in Latin America:

New School & Group Field Trips

Are you a teacher or work for an organization that takes field trips?  SEE Turtles offers hands-on participatory trips to Costa Rica and Baja where your group will meet local researchers and see how conservation and research is done in the field.  We now offer fall trips to places like the Osa Peninsula and Magdalena Bay.  Click here to learn more.

SEEtheWILD - Sail the Gulf Islands, British Columbia

Our featured SEEtheWILD trip this month is by our friends at Maple Leaf Adventures.  The Gulf Islands are a little explored archipelago between Vancouver Island and mainland British Columbia.  Aboard their luxurious schooner, you'll explore these islands in search of marine mammal and seabird colonies and more.  More information here.

Help Puerto Rico's Leatherbacks!

Puerto Rico is home to important nesting areas for leatherback sea turtles.  Despite having local support, these beaches are under threat from unsustainable development.  Please click here to sign a petition urging continued protection of the Northeast Ecological Corridor.

Stamps That Help Wildlife

The US Postal Service has announced the creation of wildlife stamps that will benefit endangered species conservation programs including sea turtles.  The stamps will cost an extra 11 cents, all of which will go to wildlife programs. Keep an eye out for them at post offices this fall and preorder your set here!

Don't forget to sign up for our other newsletter, SEEtheWILD!  By subscribing, you'll enter our Nicaragua Turtle Tour Sweepstakes!
